In June 2005 The London School of Beauty & Make-up opened an additional building situated within walking distance to its Margaret Street premises and Oxford Circus Underground Station.

The new annexe is devoted exclusively to the education of the coveted international CIBTAC & CIDESCO qualifications. The attractive period building with its winding staircase is spread over six floors and is furnished with the latest equipment.

CIBTAC and CIDESCO qualifications each have a final exam covering both theory and practical work and they are usually completed in three to four days.The CIBTAC exam is taken after twenty-five weeks (around six months) and for those who are continuing on to CIDESCO, further exams will be held at the end of the whole of the forty-four weeks (approximately 11 months).

In order to enroll on these courses, a level of education equivalent to a United Kingdom A-level or Baccalaureate standard is required. In addition, overseas students will be required to have an excellent grasp of the English language both written and verbal.

Wherever possible the school will require a prospective student to attend an interview at the school.If this is not possible, then a pre-arranged telephone interview should be organised.

In addition to the standard CIBTAC curriculum that other schools follow, we also include a separate recognised qualification in Indian Head Massage. For those who are continuing onto CIDESCO, we also offer extra international diplomas in Aromatherapy and Reflexology.

The school attracts a large number of overseas students from all parts of the world. This is due to its reputation for having high standards and an excellent pass-rate. Its’ location in the heart of central London close to all the major theatres, shops, restaurants and fashionable bars is an added attraction.

An informal face-to-face interview is required to discuss the course in detail. A telephone interview may be arranged for overseas students who cannot travel to the UK for a face-to-face interview.
