Aloe vera among top beauty treatments for sun-exposed skin
Aloe vera among top beauty treatments for sun-exposed skin When it comes to beauty treatments, pure aloe vera gel is a product that everyone should have.

Skincare expert Ole Henriksen told abclocal.com that this product is particularly useful for soothing the skin after sun exposure.

He said that people can make their own beauty treatments at home, using a mix of aloe vera and chamomile tea, to create a great after sun mist.

Mr Henriksen recommended applying this after going in the shower to cool and comfort the skin.

"The mist can be kept in the fridge so that it's nice and cooling when you use it," he told the news provider.

Aloe vera is also great for relieving sunburn, as it contains naturally healing steroids, according to Mr Henriksen. He recommended applying it in a thick layer across the burned area.

Again, he suggested keeping the formula in the fridge and said it is worth using on a day-to-day basis, as it feels "refreshing and uplifting".

Mr Henriksen really knows what he is talking about when it comes to beauty treatments, with his own range of skincare products and a spa to his name.
