A skin therapist has offered advice to people on beauty courses about how much make-up to apply to a client's skin.
Louise Thomas-Minns, beauty therapist and founder of Uandyourskin.co.uk, said that clients who have skin that's in good condition will not require as many beauty products as those who don't.
Ms Minns added that those with a complexion that's in tip-top condition will find that their skin is more balanced in terms of oil secretion and hydration, meaning that make-up will be more long-lasting.
In addition, she said that ladies can help a client's make-up stay on longer by using a foundation primer.
"I would also recommend applying a layer of loose powder to the skin before you apply your foundation and then afterwards to absorb excess oil, reduce shine and keep your make up looking fresh," she said.
Skin care advice was also issued by Lois Joy Johnson, a beauty editor, who told Bellasugar.com that ladies should wear sunscreen every day.
