Asian bridal course takers offered make up tips
Spring brings the start of the wedding season in countries such as Pakistan and those on Asian bridal courses should learn how to apply make up for people's big day.

US-based beauty expert Maria Saadat wrote for the Express Tribune that black kajal and pink lipstick is cliché and bolder choices should be made to ensure that the bride stand out during her wedding ceremony.

"Today's beauty trends reflect the vibrant hues of nature – jewel-toned eyes mimicking oleander trees and azure skies, fruity lips evoking images of peach-lined fruit stands," Ms Saadat advised trainee make up artists.

She added that bright purple and yellow eyeliners could make a striking impression on wedding guests, while standard grey and black eyeshadows should be replaced with the colours of peacocks and gladiolas.

Nancy Rappaport, director of product development for Sephora Collection, recently told Canadian Press that bright shades are in when it comes to nail trends, while pastel colours are out.
