Women currently on Asian bridal courses have been offered tips by some US makeup artists in the bridal makeup industry.
Local makeup and hair pro Tiffany Lowry, speaking to NW Source, told Asian bridal course students that wedding day makeup is not just about looking pretty in person, but is also about looking good in the photos.
She also said it is important to know your place in the event and do more than just the makeup.
"I feel like makeup artists and hairstylists set the tone for the day. Theyre the person whos making you pretty. Theyre making your skin look beautiful, theyre chitchatting, theyre making you feel like a princess," she added.
Miss Lowry also recommended doing a dry run or practice session before the wedding, just to ensure everything is correct and told Asian bridal course students to recommend the bride brings a digital camera to show her how she looks in the photos.
Melanie Baird, another makeup artist talking to the Vancouver Sun suggested eye cream containing caffeine as a must-have for any big day.
