L'Oreal's Revitalift Repair 10 magazine adverts have been described as "misleadingly exaggerated" by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

The images depict a photograph of actress Rachel Weisz with a flawless skin tone, supposedly achieved through use of the product.

However, the ASA claimed the picture has been "altered in a way that substantially changed her complexion to make it appear smoother and more even".

Weisz, who is 41-years-old, appears to have no wrinkles or fine lines in the advert and looks substantially younger than her years.

The Hollywood star is known for her role in films including The Constant Gardener, The Mummy, The Lovely Bones and The Whistleblower.

She recently tied the knot with actor Daniel Craig in a secret ceremony in New York following a whirlwind romance.ADNFCR-2992-ID-801283502-ADNFCR
