Those on professional makeup courses have been advised that when they are on the hunt for new tools, the key is to pick shades that will best suit their client.
A blogger on Divine Caroline has explained that, while there may be different trends for different seasons, not all styles will suit everyone, and to find the right balance it is about experimenting and 'mixing it up a little'.
Clients with brown eyes will be best suited to rich purples, plums, dark browns and greys, whereas those with blue or grey eyes, browns, golds and greys are great for them.
The commentator went on to say that mascara should always be black or, for those with pale skin, dark brown and ladies with green peepers will suit shades that include purple as this brings out the vivid colour in the eyes.
Marie-Andree Guimont, writing for Divine, recently told ladies on professional makeup courses that the trends have taken a more sophisticated turn and one of the main features for autumn will be perfect, flawless skin.
