Beauty bags 'should have 6 key makeup brushes'
Beauty bags 'should have 6 key makeup brushes' There are six types of cosmetics brushes that every woman needs in her beauty bag, according to one expert.

In an interview with Allure magazine, makeup artist Quinn Murphy provided tips on the best tools for achieving a flawless look.

One of the most important investments is a flat, angled synthetic concealer brush, which allows precise application "exactly where there's discoloration or darkness".

For applying powder, a small style tool was described by Mr Murphy as easier to manoeuvre, thus avoiding a matte look all over the face.

When it comes to the eyes, a soft, flat eyeshadow brush and a small, pointed eyeliner version were recommended for maximum control.

Finally, Mr Murphy suggested investing in sponge tip applicators and a soft blush brush.

"No one uses sponge tip applicators anymore, but they're genius for applying dark shadow," the beauty professional stated.

Boston Globe writer Rachel Raczka recently advised women they should give their makeup brushes a deep clean at least once a week.ADNFCR-2992-ID-801270440-ADNFCR
