Ladies in beauty training will be interested to hear that a top make-up artist has offered tips on trends to try on clients this season.
Mia Johnson, a freelance make-up artist for L'Oreal's Colour Space, told San Diego Entertainer Magazine that there are five trends and tips to follow at the moment.
She said that cat eyes will continue to be popular and can be created with a liquid eyeliner, complemented by a eyelid covered in a bright eyeshadow.
Technicolour shades are popular for eyeshadows, with bright orange, vibrant lilac and sky blue all on-trend colours to try.
The popularity of bold hues also extends to the lips, according to Ms Johnson, who said that clients are after lips that are orange, red or hot pink.
When it comes to eyelashes, she said that they should be as full as possible.
For spring and summer, clients can also be made up with bronzer to contour their faces, according to Ms Johnson.
To create an even more glowing look, ladies may also want to use fake tan on clients.
