Beauty salon treatments: Traditional manicures top for weddings
Beauty salon treatments: Traditional manicures top for weddings Traditional manicures are sometimes the best option when it comes to summer weddings, according to one beauty expert.

Leighton Denny, leading nail expert and the man behind The Leighton Denny Expert Nails brand, said during the wedding season, hands, nails and feet suddenly become important – mainly because on the big day everything is on show.

"The consensus for wedding day nails is paler shades or a traditional ivory white French tip, however, with the summer season upon us there has been a trend sparked for pastel colours," he explained.

Mr Denny added that in the summer heat, many brides will be wanting to have matching beauty salon treatments on both their hands and their toes and when it comes to this, there is no hard and fast rule, but he always suggests sheer pink.

Michelle Obama was recently spotted on holiday sporting a bright green pedicure in some strappy black jewelled sandals, which Grazia said looked 'cool and elegant, and yet still totally First Lady appropriate'.
