Beauty school students who have older clients have been given advice on how to keep their decollete's wrinkle-free.
Dr Patrick Bowler told the Daily Mail that Fraxel Lasers, which cost £1,200 for three treatments, are "very good" and have been used for a number of years. He noted that this method is particularly effective at tackling pigmentation.
According to the expert, mesotherapy, which starts from £450, can also help hydrate skin and promote collagen, which will generally "plump things up".
In addition, he said that Elmis Pro-Collagen lifting treatment, which claims to reduce redness and soothe skin, will make the epidermis smoother but will not produce a long-term change, those looking to learn make-up techniques will be interested to hear.
However, he added: "Simply by moisturising this area, you're going to improve the appearance of the skin, because it will become more hydrated."
In addition, clients who are going through the menopause could be helped by being treated to rich, hydrating moisturisers that contain ingredients like urea and liquid paraffin, according to Nisith Sheth, a consultant dermatologist.
