The news source recommended that those looking to learn make-up tips try using Topshop's Lip Stick in Raptuous, a bright red shade, for an "intense pigment".

If beauty enthusiasts want a more hydrating product, they may wish to purchase Clinique's Chubby Sticks, which will be available from this April 15th. Stylist recommended using Richer Raisin, a mauve shade.

Those looking for a matte stain can try Revlon's Just Bitten Lipstain in Passion, while those after a shinier finish might want to experiment with Lipstick Queen's Glossy Pencil in Genre, a bright orange hue.

Statement lips have been popular for many years, being worn by Theda Bara, a silent screen star, in the 1920s.
