Beauty therapy students: Treatment of the week named Those on beauty therapy courses will be interested to hear that the Daily Mail has named (and tested) its beauty treatment of the week.

Kate Melhuish, one of the newspaper's writers, recently had the Gold Facial at Neville Hair & Beauty in London's Belgravia.

At the beginning of the treatment, Ms Melhuish had her skin cleansed and gently steamed, so that its pores were opened. Then the epidermis was painted with Oligo-Cellular Gold and calcium, before being massaged.

She said: "After the treatment, my skin had a genuine glow that belied the week I'd had. And the effects lasted for an impressive few weeks afterwards: my skin was baby soft, my pores were clear and I didn’t have a spot in sight."

In addition, a writer who reviewed the treatment for Sky Living agreed with this positive assessment, saying that the procedure was total "bliss".
