Beauty therapy students: Women prefer make-up to coffee, chocolate
Beauty therapy students: Women prefer make-up to coffee, chocolate Ladies on beauty therapy courses will be interested to hear that females prioritise their beauty products above coffee, chocolate and sex.

This is according to a survey from L'Bel USA, which showed that females would give up these things for a week instead of their favourite beauty product, those on beauty therapy courses were told.

"Women not only want beauty products that make them feel radiant inside and out, but products that are customized for their skin and lifestyle. It's no surprise they would rather go without a few of life's other simple pleasures. Once you find a product you love, that's affordable and works, you never want to let it go," John Krites, L'Bel USA's beauty expert, said.

The survey, which questioned over 1,300 women in the US aged 18 and above, found that 26 per cent of respondents regularly have a make-up or skincare item in their purse.

In addition, 59 per cent of females revealed that they prioritise lip gloss over lotion, 12 per cent over fragrance and nine per cent over foundation or concealer.

Furthermore, an Olay survey last year found that 50 per cent of females thought the most important beauty attribute to have is youthful skin.
