Women working in the world of beauty treatments should brace themselves for a new trend which could be set to rival Botox – bee venom.
This new face mask is said to leave you with tip-top skin and looking as though you've just had a facelift, but without the pain or the expense.
Total Beauty has highlighted this new natural skin care trend that has reportedly been used by Camilla Parker Bowles and involves the venom being extracted from honey bees' stings.
Beautician Deborah Mitchell, who regularly carries out treatments on The Duchess of Cornwall and Dannii Minogue, said: "It keeps skin firm and youthful and is not at all painful - there is just a slight tingle as the blood supply and nutrients flow into the skin tissues."
Meanwhile, whilst bee venom makes its mark, Botox is steadily rising up the charts in the beauty treatment world, with recent Mintel statistics showing that the numbers of women and men having their first injection has risen by 15 per cent.
