Beauty treatments that prepare the face for summer
Beauty treatments that prepare the face for summer Getting gorgeous skin for summer is a priority for many woman and beauty treatments are key to this.

Skincare expert Jeanine Downie told Elle magazine that a using a gentle exfoliating cleanser on a daily basis is the first step to achieving perfection as this sloughs away dead skin cells.

A physical exfoliator should also be used up to four times a week, Ms Downie said. Women with oilier, more acne-prone skin can use this more often.

"Look for scrubs that contain spherical, pliable microbeads versus grains with rough, scratchy edges to avoid irritation," she recommended.

Ms Downie also suggested that women use multi-tasking beauty treatments like Aveeno Ageless Vitality, which "smooths, brightens and perfects".

When it comes to making sure your legs look gorgeous for wearing shorts and skirts this summer, Madeline Crisp, writing for the Mirror, recommended using beauty treatments like anti-cellulite cream.

She also recommended regular body brushing to remove dead skin cells.
