Creating a natural looking tan is one of the most sought after beauty skills and the editor of Pure Beauty has now offered some advice on how this can be achieved.
Emily Miller noted gradual tanners are proving popular. She named St Tropez Everyday Gradual Tan as her top product, thanks to the fact it "gives a natural colour and keeps the fake tan smell to a minimum".
"Imedeen Tan Optimiser, meanwhile, won't give a pre-tan glow but does claim to prepare skin for the sun, give a better tan when exposed to the sun, and protect skin from the damaging effects of UV exposure including free radical damage," she added.
Ms Miller also said instant tan is another key trend, as people look for formulas which are just as easy to remove as they are to apply.
Those on beauty courses may also want to note Magic Makeup Tips author Sarah Jagger's top products for holiday, which included St Tropez's New SPF 30 High Protection with Tan Enhancer and Blinc Mascara.
