Brown eye pencil 'best for polished eyebrows'
Brown eye pencil 'best for polished eyebrows' Makeup artists looking for tips on how to shape eyebrows into a perfect arch may want to take note of advice from one leading beauty specialist.

In an interview with Become Gorgeous, Vogue's most influential makeup artist in the world 2007 Pat McGrath described how to achieve a "perfectly-polished" look.

She claimed that having tamed eyebrows is a must in order to complete a flawless face, with a sharp eye pencil the key tool.

"Use only brown eyebrow pencils and skip black which can create an artificial effect. Choose the most flattering shade that suits your hair colour," Ms McGrath recommended.

Ladies were advised to highlight each brow with the beauty tool and then emphasise them by using a thin layer of face powder.

Ms McGrath, who according to Vogue has worked with celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Madonna, also described how applying black mascara to the roots of eyelashes and brown on the tips can help make mascara look natural.
