British designer Burberry has unveiled its new makeup range and explained the inspiration behind the new products.
Burberry Beauty is a collection that most makeup school students will be hoping to get their hands on, which includes foundations, powders, bronzers, lipsticks and eye shadows that were inspired by the designer's staple item: the classic trench coat.
The man behind the new range is Christopher Bailey, who said the collection is about creating he English rose, but by using delicate means.
"Makeup should enhance women, not just cover up what they perceive as flaws," he said.
"The idea was for the products to look and feel like things you really want to have in your bag."
Makeup school students will be able to get their hands on the goodies from Friday when the range launches on the Burberry website.
Mr Bailey also told Frillr that the thinking behind the shades was the weather – stormy greys and blues.
