Christian Dior brings back 'unashamedly feminine' looks
Christian Dior brings back 'unashamedly feminine' looks Those considering enrolling on intensive makeup courses may have taken note of Christian Dior's spring/summer show, which saw models with a Lauren Bacall-inspired look.

Kate Shapland, writing for the Telegraph, said that the lilac eye and red lip combination was suggestive of the iconic actress in the 1940s, being "unashamedly feminine".

She described the look as a "joyous return to colour in makeup" with "proper lip and eye paint", something that you may have welcomed also if you're about to go on intensive makeup courses.

Ms Shapland said that a "hint of colour" should be applied when it comes to sherbet shades, recommending "just a wash over the lids". Brown, grey or coloured mascara should be used with the look, but never black.

Purples and mauves are best for blue eyes, while green and brown peepers suit blue shades with lilac undertones, she added.

Meanwhile, chocolate colours have also been identified as a top trend for the spring, which those considering going on intensive makeup courses should be aware of.ADNFCR-2992-ID-19702194-ADNFCR
