Colour is "everywhere", so those considering enrolling in make up school will need to embrace bold shades this spring.
Wende Zomnir, founding partner and executive creative director at Urban Decay, told Access Hollywood that experimentation is key to finding the perfect colourful look.
The good thing is bold shades are easy to wear so make up school students should have no problem using them.
Famous faces are helping to drive this trend, Ms Zomnir told the news provider.
"I am seeing celebrities really accenting eyes with unexpected pops of colour. Leighton Meester looks amazing in Glamour Magazine wearing a sparkling, vibrant navy," she said.
Ms Zomnir also pointed make up school students in the direction of Kate Beckinsale, who recently opted for an aqua-coloured eye shadow.
