Ladies who've been practicing their make-up skills by trying the colour popping trend will be pleased to hear that the style is supposedly here to stay.
This is according to make-up artist Jules Cardozo-Marsh, who said that although this style will remain there will be a new take on it, which will see it with a more "grown-up" finish and looking more sophisticated.
"Moving away from the brash 80s feel of last season, this autumn/winter colourful make-up has gravitated towards a 'Studio 54' feel," she said.
Ms Cardozo-Marsh added that those on beauty courses can create this style by making skin look youthful and dewy and then adding one block of colour to the whole eyelid.
The beauty expert said ladies should go for either silver metallic or cobalt blue.
She recommended seeking inspiration from the Andy Warhol-esque eyes that were seen at James Cochrane and Christian Dior, a contemporary alternative to smokey eyes.
In addition, beauty guru Sharron Forrester recently wrote for Vogue that bold lip colours were seen at Gaultier and Stephane Rolland, a trend to follow.
