Makeup artists should be fully aware of what look a bride is hoping to achieve when planning wedding day looks.
This is according to cosmetic expert Kelly O'Keefe, who described in an article for Back Bay Patch how it is vitally important women communicate with their beauty specialist.
Ladies were advised to allow plenty of time for different looks to be trialled ahead of their big day, with Ms Keefe recommending "planning and hashing out ideas" well in advance.
"Communication should be seamless and clear; the makeup artist needs to understand and be able to interpret the look you want to achieve," she stated.
When selecting a makeup artist to complete the work, Ms O'Keefe reminded brides they should feel confident in the individual's ability and trust them to help do a good job.
Wedding fairs are one place where ladies can meet and discuss bridal makeup with cosmetic specialists who have experience with wedding day beauty.
