Kim Catrall's make-up artist has revealed how she created the star's look for the latest Sex and the City movie, something which may be of use to make-up schoolstudents.
Kyra Panchenko said she wanted to reflect Catrall's character Samantha's confidence and that was why she opted for an 80s inspired look, of which the main staple is a strong lip colour and the inspiration behind it was two of music's biggest leading ladies.
"The inspiration for Samantha's look was Blondie and Madonna," she revealed.
"I wanted to embrace her age, beauty and sexuality to create a look that was edgy but age-appropriate."
She went on to tell those enrolled on beauty therapy courses that she taught Kim to open up her eyes using individual false lashes and how to create a cats' eye shape by using eyeliner along the lower lashes.
The latest movie sees the quartet travel to Abu Dhabi on a fun-filled vacation brimming with beautiful clothes, sky-high heels and plenty of Cosmopolitans.
