Ensure make up is 'personal'
Ensure make up is 'personal' Those currently enrolled in make up schooltraining have been warned not to take the latest trends and fashions too far with their subjects and keep looks personal.

International lead make up artist for Nars, James Boehmer, explained that not every female will suit every trend, and besides, they are not strict rules but an offer of guidance for women looking to try something different.

"We don't dictate trends. Make up is more personal," he said.

For subjects with brown eyes, he suggested a cool eyeshadow, like silver, to enhance the eye colour, and on a more general note he recommended those in make up schooltraining look to light and patterned colours for summer.

Mr Boehmer is a driving force behind the scenes at the NY Fashion Week, and when discussing the on-trend coral lips that took the catwalks by storm recently, he said: "It's very user friendly to get on board that trend".
