Students on beauty courses know the importance of looking good from head to toe, and in the summer months this includes having well polished feet in your sandals.
Footcare specialist Scholl explained key issues with feet include chipped nails, dry skin and bad cuticles, but these can all be solved with a little TLC.
It recommended people treat themselves to a regular foot spa to keep their skin soft and supple, perhaps making this a good investment for students on beauty courses.
Referring to its own Color Pop Foot Spa, Scholl explained it features "massage attachments including a pumice stone to smooth soles, as well as massage rollers and acupressure pads".
For those who feel the need for an even more relaxing experience, the company recommended a shiatsu massager.
To make sure their clients leave 100 per cent ready for the summer months, professionals may then want to paint their toes in one of the colour of the season – vivid yellow.
Joanna McGarry, beauty director at Stylist magazine, recommended Yves Saint Laurent Laque Nail Polish in Surreal Yellow or Chanel Le Vernis Nail Varnish in Mimosa.
