Facial courses attendees: Skin should be looked after through regular regime

Those on facial courses have been told how important it is for the skin to be looked after through a regular regime.

Sally Penford, education manager for the International Dermal Institute, has highlighted the importance of having a good routine build up and using top quality products.

She said that the essentials are a good quality cleanser, regular exfoliation, a face mask and a moisturiser that incorporates some form of sun protection.

"Sunscreen is critical all year round and that is where people make a mistake – they think, during the winter, they don't need to use a sunscreen when, in fact, your skin is still exposed to UV all year round," she asserted.

Ms Penford added that this in fact contributes to a lot of the ageing people experience, as it is the UV which has this effect.

Those looking for perfect glowing skin could take leaf from the Allure blog, which has highlighted a number of key tactics that people can achieve to get a great tan without putting themselves at risk of developing skin cancer.ADNFCR-2992-ID-19906079-ADNFCR
