If you're thinking of undergoing make up training then you may want to brush up on your knowledge of cosmetics and how to use them on women of different ages.
Professional make up artist Brigitte Bigeard, writing for Focus On Style, has said that light foundation should be used on women over 50. It should match their natural skin tone and be used sparingly.
She also said lightly textured concealer should be used on more mature women. A top tip for those considering make up training is to make sure the colour is not too light, as this can give a grey appearance.
"Make sure that you powder lightly afterward. I tend to use a powder brush to apply it evenly all over the face and not have any blotching," Ms Bigeard continued.
You should also only apply eyeliner on the upper lid to avoid creating a heavy look. A rose or beige blush is best for enhancing the cheekbones, according to the expert.
BellaSugar Australia recently said that matte make up is best for more mature women.
