Greige nails 'a must-have' for students on beauty therapy courses
Greige nails 'a must-have' for students on beauty therapy courses Students on beauty therapy courses need to get their hands on some greige nail colour, as it has been touted as the top trend for 2010.

Amy Lawrenson, writing for Elle magazine, said that the hue - a combination of grey and beige - looked set to be the hot new colour for spring summer when Chanel showcased its Particuliere polish on popstar Lily Allen at its Paris show.

But now its star status has been confirmed as a host of other A-listers have got in on the greige act.

Ms Lawrenson said that manicurist to the stars Kimmie Kyees used nail brand Color Club's version of the colour on pop diva Rihanna, while Gwyneth Paltrow donned the shade for the Madrid Fashion Week.

Sandra Bullock also opted for greige nails on the red carpet at the Golden Globes.

Elle magazine offered top tips for students on beauty therapy courses who want to try out this trend for themselves, suggesting Nails Inc's Jermyn Street (£10.50) or OPI's Tickle My France-y (£9.95) as an alternative to Particuliere (£16).

Meanwhile, the reverse French manicure has also been identified as a big trend for this season, according to the Daily Mail.
