The Express & Star has suggested ways for beauty school students to find the best skincare products for their clients' skin.
When purchasing skincare products, you should disregard sales pitches as you don't know whether the salesperson is trustworthy and you'll be unlikely to return the product if you're not satisfied, it advises.
Beauty school students on a budget are advised to buy designer diffusion ranges and progress to the real deal when finances allow.
The importance of cleansing, toning and moisturising is also emphasised. Make sure you buy the three essentials for this as your cleanser, toner and moisturiser will act as the basis for the make up you'll apply afterwards, the newspaper claimed.
It also recommends testing products before you purchase them to avoid wasting money and buying unsuitable items.
Most importantly, the paper suggests you buy make up you can have fun with and won't get bored of.
Boots has recently launched a moisturiser which is anti-ageing and offers UVA protection. The No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Day Cream, with its gold and matte packaging, is well worth its £21.50 price tag.
