The smokey eye is a timeless look and many clients are sure to come to those on beauty courses and ask for help to create the style. Luckily, some advice on achieving the signature style has been offered by a host of make-up experts to Yahoo.com. Celebrity beauty guru Bobbi Brown, who has worked for US Vogue and Cosmopolitan, told the news source that some people may not suit smokey eyes created with shades of black. "Very often shades of browns, bronze and chocolate are more than enough to create a smoky finish but still make the eyes stand out," she said. According to the beauty expert, a brown smokey eye can be more “wearable” than its black variant and looks good on ladies who are sunkissed. Advice was also offered by Chase Aston, international make-up artists at the Body Shop, who said that the top line of eyeliner should not be put on straight across the lid, but rather flicked out and up at the outer corner so the eye does not appear "droopy". One celebrity who recently showed off how to achieve perfectly lined eyes was Kim Kardashian, who showed up to her wedding with black eyeliner decorating her upper eyelids.
