Lasers are the up and coming technology with regards to beauty therapy courses, something which is suitable for the face, body, teeth and hair.
According to the Daily Record, lasers have a variety of uses and one of the top ones for the face is the Regenlite machine and the Dundee Academy of Beauty has rated the beauty therapy course positively.
Academy owner Karen Lamb said: "We can also treat acne scarring, using the machine's rejuvenating mode. This stimulates the body to produce more collagen and elastin to help heal the scars."
Laser therapy can also be used to help people shed the pounds, according to Anne Penman, who explained that the laser helps to stimulate the release of endorphins and, like acupuncture, can be used on energy points to suppress appetite cravings.
Lasers can also be used to whiten teeth and, as many women know, to effectively remove unwanted body hair.
The Telegraph's Victoria Lambert recently recommended the Rioblush beauty therapy course for adult acne, stretch marks and dark circles.
