Makeup school students have been told of the latest on-trend shade for the season – denim.
According to makeup guru and the man behind the famously popular beauty range, Bobbi Brown has explained that denim is reclaiming the catwalk – but this time through makeup.
She told Stylelist that, though it sounds "scary" to go for blue eyes, the trick is to pick shades that will keep your subjects' makeup looking modern and "put-together".
Ms Brown recommended inky blues, but told makeup school attendees that they will need to tailor the rest of their look to match the shade and, to avoid looking washed out, subjects should have a few dabs of rose-coloured blusher on their cheeks.
"Try a dark blue eyeliner like Bobbi Brown Denim Ink Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner, which is dark enough to define the eye and has enough blue to give your eyes and instant lift," she suggested to makeup school students.
