Learn make-up tips from a beauty director
Learn make-up tips from a beauty director Ladies on beauty courses have been given some helpful advice by an expert on make-up.

Joanna McGarry, beauty director at Stylist magazine, said that the spring/summer 2011 catwalk focussed heavily on sunshine yellows and said that people should feature these colours in their make-up bags to add "zing".

Ms McGarry told those looking to learn make-up tips that there are a number of yellow products that they can try on clients.

She recommended L'Oreal Glam Shine Fresh Lipgloss in Fresh Lemon Tonic.

When it came to nails, she said that ladies can try Yves Saint Laurent Laque Nail Polish in Surreal Yellow, a mustard-coloured shade, and Chanel Le Vernis Nail Varnish in Mimosa, a more vivid colour.

The trend for sunshine yellow can also be reflected on in client's eye make-up with Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Colour in YE306, Fardel Professional Art Make Up Powder Eyeshadow in 716 and Mac Pro Chromaline Eyeliner in Primary Yellow.

A number of models at Peter Som's spring 2011 show in New York last year showed off the trend for yellow eye make-up, with one having a striking wash of bright colour over part of her eyelid.ADNFCR-2992-ID-800532945-ADNFCR
