The latest tip offered to make-up schoolstudents this summer is to go fluorescent.
According to ASOS magazine, going neon will add much needed colour to what is otherwise an understated or nude trend, which is currently doing the rounds and fashioned by celebs such as Tess Daly.
From oranges and pinks, to yellows and reds, the magazine quite rightly says there is something for everyone to suit their tone or their mood.
"Nothing says fun quite like neon-yellow nails or hot-pink lips. Choose your area of attention carefully - either lips, eyes, cheeks or nails - and highlight this zone with a dense flash of fluro," it asserts.
The magazine is quick to point out that this look can be overdone easily, rendering what may be a good effort into what it dubs as an "80s homage". To prevent this from happening, go for one splash of colour with understated make-up everywhere else.
