Brides who are planning to do their make-up themselves can be assisted with a number of tips that those on beauty courses can pass on to them. Ana Ospina, a specialist in bridal make-up, said that said that brides-to-be can get a picture perfect look for their big day practising with their desired beauty products frequently before the event. She advised: “Do a couple of trial runs if going for a specific look like a 50's liner, lashes or a bold lip colour. This way you can know what time is best to start make-up application on your wedding day, as you will have a clearer idea of how long it will take you.” Ms Ospina said that brides should make sure that they use REN, Dermalogica and Kheils products to prepare their skin for make-up. She also suggested using a primer so that any other make-up products added appear smoother and stay on for longer. Last month, Ms Ospina also pointed out that a trend for bold eyes on brides has also recently been created by the appearance of Kate Moss and the Duchess of Cambridge with their peepers styled in this way.
