Makeup brushes should be cleaned every fortnight
Makeup brushes should be cleaned every fortnight Individuals undertaking beauty courses may find tips one how to gain a healthy complexion helpful.

It was suggested by Yahoo's RealBuzz lifestyle advice that several changes to skincare routines can help to boost a person's appearance.

Ladies were urged to regularly cleanse not only their face, but also the brushes they use to apply makeup.

"Make sure you wash your brushes every one to two weeks using hot, soapy water, a mild shampoo or a foaming anti-bacterial face wash," women were advised.

Failure to do so could lead to dirt and bacteria being spread across the skin every time cosmetics are applied.

Another tip was to use sun protection daily so that UV rays cannot cause damage that will lead to premature ageing and wrinkles.

Dermatologist Dr Shirley Chi recently claimed in an interview with KABC-TV Los Angeles that makeup brushes should be stored in a drawer and shampooed every two weeks.ADNFCR-2992-ID-801298328-ADNFCR
