Bond girl and face of Avon's 007 fragrance Gemma Arterton has given makeup school students inspiration on an age-old beauty trend – the barely-there look.
The star recently attended the premiere of her latest flick Tamara Drewe, with skin that was notably glowing, and clad in a gorgeous and once again minimal cream floor-length strapless dress.
"Leading lady Gemma Arterton was the talk of the red carpet, and let her natural beauty shine through, with bare-faced makeup and slicked back locks," Marie Claire asserted.
Ms Arterton, who plays a femme fatale in the new film, was also praised by Metro for her fresh-faced look, and the fact that she had "ditched the face paint", which is something that may inspire makeup school students to try and recreate.
The look consisted of a dab of blush on the cheeks, a few swipes of mascara on the lashes and nude lipstick, but as many makeup school students will know, without visibly clear skin, it can take more effort to create the nude look than any other.
