Makeup school students advised on face contouring techniques
Makeup school students advised on face contouring techniques Makeup school students may want to learn about foundation application techniques which can help women redefine their face without having to go under the knife.

Many women want to be able to change the shape of their features without having to go to the costly and painful lengths of having cosmetic surgery, so having these tricks up your sleeve could be a real advantage.

Beauty expert Sue Moxley shared her tips for redefining the face with the Sun and there is plenty of advice that makeup school students will want to take note of.

She explained that blending light and shade can create the illusion of depth and shape.

"Shading narrows and deflects attention from prominent features, while highlighting softens and accentuates them," Ms Moxley said.

She added that makeup school students will need three shades of foundation for these techniques, including the individual's natural colour, one that is three times darker and a third that is as light as possible.

Celebrity make-up artist Bobbi Brown recently explained to the Daily Record that using two different shades of concealer can reduce the appearance of puffy eyes.
