Moisturiser 'a vital beauty basic'
Moisturiser 'a vital beauty basic' Makeup artists may be interested to learn how moisturiser can be adapted to suit many beauty functions.

This is according to associate editor at Allure magazine Sophia Panych, who described how the product is not just useful for hydrating skin.

She claimed the beauty staple can help create a sheer finish when combined with foundation and will help ladies to blend the cosmetic easier when applying it to the face.

Another tip was to apply moisturiser if skin looks over-powdered, as this will freshen up the face.

"Tap it on to those areas with your ring finger and gently blend. It will break up whatever caking or settling has happened," Ms Panych remarked.

Finally, it was noted moisturiser dabbed around the outer corners of eyes can highlight the skin without emphasising fine lines as luminisers do.

Owner of Eden Boutique Jennifer Hansen recently told the Des Moines Register how it is especially important to keep faces well hydrated as the weather turns colder.ADNFCR-2992-ID-801241609-ADNFCR
