New laser hair removal treatment 'revolutionary' Individuals looking to undertake laser hair removal courses may be interested to hear about a new treatment that has been hailed as revolutionary.

The Daily Mail spoke to two women who have used Applisonix in a bid to tackle facial hair, with both describing their delight at its effectiveness.

Ultrasound waves are emitted through a tweezer-like device in order to target hairs at the root and damage the follicle so strands cannot re-grow.

Linda Jones from West London said: "It feels a bit like the hairs are being plucked, but it takes no more than about 20 minutes and there's no redness afterwards."

Unlike traditional laser hair removal technology, users do not have to stay out of the sun or wear suncream afterwards, according to facialist Katherine Jackson.

Consultant plastic surgeon at Liberate David Oliver recently commented that laser treatment is the best method of reducing unwanted hair, as it is both cost effective and quick.
