Oil-based products 'good for all skin types'
Oil-based products 'good for all skin types' Women undertaking beauty courses may be interested to hear how oils are said to be beneficial for all skin types.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, head of research and development at Clarins Dr Lionel De Benetti explained how the skin "recognises and responds" to such products as they mimic the body's own natural gland secretions.

As a result, oil-based products are "highly effective at rebalancing the skin and treating dehydration, dryness, lines and even excess oiliness".

It was noted cleansers containing oil are good for greasy or spot-prone skin as they effectively remove grime without stripping all moisture.

Lorraine Murry, natural beauty consultant at Weleda, said such cosmetics are particularly beneficial for hair, as they repair and condition dry locks, as well as "boost thinning tresses".

Actress Emma Stone recently claimed in an interview with Style.com that grapeseed oil is the secret ingredient behind her flawless complexion.ADNFCR-2992-ID-801271874-ADNFCR
