New research has revealed results that may not be so surprising to us ladies: one in three females refuse to leave the house make-up free.
In addition, the Daily Mail reported that 23 per cent of ladies reapply their beauty products within two or three hours of being out of the house.
The survey, which was carried out by QVC, a TV shopping channel, discovered that on average British women consider their appearance nine times each day.
Furthermore, three in ten of the ladies polled said that they would at least add some lipstick before doing the school run.
Over a third of those questioned also revealed that they didn't want to look good for men but rather other women.
"This research proves what we have always suspected, that women love to look their best," Sue Leeson, marketing director at QVC, said.
Ladies who can relate to the findings of this survey may wish to learn make-up techniques from students training at a beauty school.
