Poll unveils women's top beauty secrets
Poll unveils women's top beauty secrets A survey of 3,000 British women has revealed just how far us ladies are prepared to go to look good and how important beauty treatments are to the females of the nation.

The study by Jolen found that women are prepared to go the whole hog in search of that perfect look, from acrylic nails to fake tans and other expensive beauty treatments, yet two-thirds of those polled will happily deny that they've had anything done.

A spokeswoman for the firm said: "No doubt media coverage of WAGS and celebrities having elaborate beauty treatments influences the average woman on the street to make an effort and try new products and initiatives".

The survey also found that in one year alone, the average woman spends nearly ten days of every year preening herself.

Some of the latest up-and-coming beauty treatments on the market are laser courses, which according to the Daily Record have a variety of uses from treating acne to helping women shed the pounds.
