Poppy colours will be in 2010 palette for makeup school students
Poppy colours will be in 2010 palette for makeup school students Budding makeup school students should add poppy colours to their list of on-trend shades for 2010, as these will become the go-to hues from March onwards, according to an expert.

Robin Narvaez, make-up artist at one of New York's top beauty boutiques, Salon Eliut Rivera, told My Fashion Life that orange and pink would become particularly popular shades, so prospective makeup school students may want to add these colours to their palette.

"For March, April and May, bright pinks work best on lips paired with kohl rimmed eyes, getting rid of dark greys and deep purples," she explained to the news provider.

Ms Narvaez said that lashes would become the statement element of the face, rather than the strikingly dark pouts that have been seen recently.

Prominent lashes will be combined with a dusting of gold shadow over the lids, the expert added.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath is another beauty expert to have focused on the eyes recently, creating a 60s-style look for the Issa show at London Fashion Week.

She told The Sun that she was inspired by Jackie Onassis.
