Ladies at make-up artistry schools will be interested to hear of a recent style choice made by Salam Hayek.
The actress attended an event in Venice wearing a stunning ruby red dress that had delicate straps, was knee length and low cut.
She teamed this with a bolero in the same shade, peep toe heels and red nail polish on her toes.
The Mexican star also wore elegant diamond earrings, which were shown off to stunning effect by her up 'do at the Il Mondo Vi Appartiene dinner.
When it came to her make-up she also dazzled, those on beauty courses have been told. The Frida star opted for a ruby red lipstick and smokey eye make-up.
Hayek also chose a red dress when she attended a photocall for her film Puss In Boots in Cannes, those at make-up artistry schools have been told.
On this occasion her dress was an orangey-red leather number that was belted at the waist and finished off with a floral bolero and matching heels.
