Sculpted look 'will be top trend for spring/summer 2010'
Sculpted look 'will be top trend for spring/summer 2010' Anyone thinking of going on professional makeup courses will want to be aware of the major trends for spring/summer 2010.

Mac's director of makeup artistry Terry Barber told Stylist magazine that the sculpted look is one of the big looks for the coming season.

He said that this trend is like a body-con dress for the face, so if you're embarking on professional makeup courses you might want to bear this in mind.

"I was really into the New Romantics in the Eighties where girls looked like beautiful boys and vice versa," he said of his inspiration for the style.

"There's a touch of ice queen, too. Erasing features is a big trend this season," he told the magazine.

Barber said he was using lots of highlighting products with concealers to create the sculpted look, so people enrolling on professional makeup courses may want to invest in these.

Lauren Luke recently told StyleList.com that red lipstick and a good mascara are essentials for any makeup bag.
