Makeup artists may be interested to hear one writer's tips on how to ensure smudge-proof eyeliner.
In an article for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Kelly Misa described how it is possible to prevent products from smearing under the eye by investing in a quality liner.
She recommended testing a number of different brands for consistency, glide and resistance before selecting which to purchase.
Ms Misa advised individuals to check "how well the liner draws, whether it distributes an equal proportion as you line it, how it feels against the skin and how long it stays on when you rub it".
In addition, ladies were encouraged to use a makeup primer as a base and then finish with a layer of powder, which helps to keep products in place for several hours.
Ms Misa's tips follow recent claims in an article for STV by No7 consultant Sam Grieve that an eyeliner flick is this season's must-have trend.
