Sunblock 'the most important anti-ageing product'
Sunblock 'the most important anti-ageing product' With many women looking to halt the ageing process, it's important that beauty therapy specialists can offer them advice on how best to do this.

Luckily, one expert in the field has offered some handy tips that can be passed on to customers, so that they can keep their skin looking youthful.

Charles Nduka, cosmetic surgeon with Liberate Cosmetic Surgery and publishing director of Expert Beauty magazine, said that the most important step that ladies can take is to use a good moisturiser and sunblock.

Mr Nduka said that these items are more important than pricey anti-ageing creams.

"It is true that exposure to ultraviolet light, particularly UVA, is the major cause of wrinkles, sun spots and skin pigmentation issues," he said.

In addition, the cosmetic surgeon said that those with very dry skin will find that it's even more important that they moisturise, as they tend to age worse than people with more oily, plumper skin.

However, research from Transform suggests that ladies still enjoy their expensive items.

The organisation found that the average lady in the UK spends £24,000 on anti-ageing creams during their lifetime.
