With the Michael Kors' spring 2010 collection featuring pastel purples and blues, those going to makeup school may be wondering how to get makeup that matches such apparel.
Elle has claimed that makeup artist Dick Page got the hues just right in the eyes.
Page told the magazine that he used "amped-up" versions of the colours seen on the catwalk, with lavender becoming a striking amethyst tone, while pale blue turns into a silvery aqua.
People heading off to makeup school may be interested to learn that he started off by using the Shiseido Accentuating Color Stick in Champagne and Rosy Flush.
Page then added Shiseido Luminizing Satin Eye Color in Fondant, before adding a little gold shadow in the inner corner of the eye, as well as black cream liner on the upper and lower lash lines.
